In 1994, following the passing of Bishop W.F. Lucas, pastor and general overseer of Lucas Temple True Church of God in Christ, Elder Irvin Bryant assumed the role of pastor. For seven years, Elder Bryant shepherded the congregation, and the Lord continued to add to the church those who were being saved. However, in 2001, due to unclear reasons from the True Church of God in Christ leadership, the bishop decided to step in as pastor. Seizing the opportunity to further the gospel, Elder Bryant, sent by God and not by man, continued to proclaim the Word according to the Scriptures.​

Minister Tony Smith had prudently arranged a backup location at the Radisson Hotel, anticipating potential issues. Consequently, our next service took place at the Radisson Hotel, and it was here that we officially chartered as God’s True Worshippers Church in the Lord Jesus.​

After several weeks at the Radisson Hotel, we relocated to a suite on Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain, GA. The Lord continued to add to our numbers daily. Eventually, we were blessed to move to our current location at 4211 Flat Shoals Parkway, Decatur, GA 30034. Through trials, tribulations, criticism, false accusations, and disappointments, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has continued to bless us with the strength to stand firm and declare His Word according to the Scriptures.​

We believe what we can read: Father God has a son, Christ Jesus, who is at His right side. Grace, mercy, and peace be with you, from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love (2 John 3). God’s True Worshippers are believers who love and worship God with their whole heart, spirit, soul, and truth. True worshippers praise Jesus Christ in good times, bad times, and challenging times. We teach, preach, and strive earnestly to live by the true Word of God as documented in the original King James Version Bible.​

This ministry was founded by divine revelation to reach the unsaved world with the gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach the true meaning of Holiness, and to nourish all believers into the Christ-like family that was intended from the creation of man. Our mission is to prepare His bride to be received by the soon-coming King of Kings and Lord of Lords, our Savior Jesus Christ.
